I will publish a list of what I purchase each week and how much is spent. I realize prices can vary based on geography. Moving from Houston to Columbia has made it more difficult to keep to our fixed food budget of $100 per week because of the higher costs of groceries. I miss buying milk for $2 and avocados for 39¢. I am thankful for Aldi stores here as well as the ones that were recently built in Houston, TX. Shopping as much as possible at Aldi helps our food budget and Aldi's selections are continuing to expand and improve as they add more nutritious options, including organic and gluten-free items.
